The warranty is valid only if the defect occurs under normal conditions of use and will not be granted for damages or defects unrelated to the product’s quality or not originating from hidden defects.
The warranty is forfeited upon meeting any of the following conditions:
1. Impacts, mechanical shocks, deformations, bends, tears, scratches, perforations, cuts, etc., whether intentional or unintentional, resulting from transportation, handling, storage, installation, incorrect use, or maintenance.
2. When the installation and commissioning are not provided by the manufacturer or an authorized manufacturer’s unit.
3. Interventions performed by individuals not authorized by the manufacturer.
4. Overvoltage in the electrical network, short-circuiting of the electrical or electronic systems of the product.
5. Overloading of electrical and mechanical components due to incorrect or inappropriate use. Excessive use of manual operation for garage doors in case of emergency. The industrial use of residential garage doors (such as roller or sectional doors).
6. Failure to comply with the installation, usage, and maintenance instructions.
7. Cases of force majeure: fires, earthquakes, natural disasters, civil unrest, etc.
8. Non-payment in full according to the terms specified in the contract for the products.
9. Losing the warranty certificate leads to the cancellation of the product warranty. The consumer is responsible for keeping the warranty certificate, as it is the only document that attests to the right to warranty. It will be presented along with the invoice and the installation acceptance report in case of defects.
The 10-year warranty is only valid for painted panels. For those with Renolit foil (mahogany), the warranty is 2 years. The above warranty is effective only under the condition that the product is exposed to normal climatic and weather conditions.
Panels installed and therefore exposed in areas located less than 2,000 meters from the last sea wave or in other areas with a saline environment and/or polluted and industrial areas where corrosive gases or particles are present are not covered by the above warranty.
Edges and cut surfaces of the panel, damaged or perforated areas, especially in saline solutions, aggressive and/or corrosive environments with the presence of acidic, alkaline, or solvent substances, are not covered by this warranty.
The exclusion from the warranties mentioned above extends to products used in latitudes between 37 degrees parallel North and 37 degrees parallel South and/or in areas subjected to the action of sand and dust erosion.
All materials must be installed in their final position within a maximum of three (3) months from the “final delivery date” to the buyer.
Additionally, the warranty does not apply regarding:
• painting or any other surface treatment on panels that are not performed by the Seller;
• damages caused by direct contact with wet concrete or damp wood or exposure to any other environment with constant humidity;
• usage or installation that is not in accordance with the instructions or proper use of the products;
• prolonged exposure to strong heat sources (≥ 70°C);
• damages caused by external events, mechanical stress, or force majeure;
• damages caused by third parties, for any reason;
• full or incomplete modification or repair carried out by a person unauthorized by the Seller;
• use of parts or components not authorized by the Seller in the production of the finished door, especially non-appropriate joining or assembly elements;
• damages related to corrosion caused by temporary or permanent contact with aggressive and corrosive substances or agents within external or climatic storage locations;
• usage of aggressive cleaning agents or aggressive or inappropriate cleaning methods;
• damages caused by natural events, pollution, riots, wars, earthquakes, floods, fires, and explosions.
Polyethylene, the protective film attached to the panel’s surface, must be shielded from UV radiation and should be removed within 24 hours from the installation date.
Compensations from the Seller will not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the purchase of goods, then subject to the complaint.
The participation will be 100% of the amount paid for the defective material for the first 5 years from the “final delivery date” for the buyer; Starting from the sixth year, Seller’s participation will decrease participation as listed below:
• Up to 6 years: 80%
• By year 7: 70%
• By year 8: 60%
• By year 10: 50%.
